Trauma Healing Team Information

I have spent 30 years working on healing my own traumatic childhood, researching trauma and healing techniques, and teaching others what I have learned.

In my 20's, I worked with the most seriously mentally ill adolescents of Massachusetts.  These teens suffered from severe mental illness and schizophrenic disorders, including Multiple Personality Disorder, Dissociative Distorder, Bi-Polar Disorder, Obsessive Compusive Disorder, Severe Depression, and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).  All of these young adults had experienced severe physical, emotional, and psychological abuse as children.  They lived in a group home to help behaviorally learn to function as adults, so that they would not have to spend their lives in mental institutions.

However, at the time (1990's) the trajectory of their lives seemed hopeless and eventually led to spending their lives in mental instituations, because there was no way of effectively treating their PTSD and developmental trauma.

After 30 years, there is hope for someone suffering from severe developmental trauma and PTSD.

I began a journey of research, education, and learning to figure out how to re-integrate a person suffering from severe developmental trauma.  I studied psychology, existential philosophy, healing and theology, in order to find a solution to the existential pain and suffering (pain in body, mind, emotions, and spirit) that someone experiences when they have been repeatedly traumatized or severly abused.

My discovery is that no single discipline or healthcare field has all the answers, rather it takes a village of diverse practitioners to heal and re-intergrate a client who has experienced chronic trauma.  In addition, a spiritual practicioner, such as myself, can look at and address the needs of the whole individual.

My background is in psychology, spirituality, and using art to help the right brain process all the latent emotion that the brain and nervous system have been unable to integrate and process.

I can see a client from a spiritual point of view and work with them through energy healing, Neuro-Bilateral Processing, and creative practices that bring them into the present...

...yet this healing work requires more practitioners and a coordinated effort to successfully help a client re-integrate body, mind, emotions, and spirit after chronic or severe trauma.

I am looking to collaborate with clinical psychologists, doctors, physical therapists, healers, or body workers who are committed to helping clients get out of the chronic suffering caused by trauma.
